The intimate space has just unveiled The Torch Carrier, an imposing 18 metres tall mural by global street artist Fintan Magee portraying the effects of climate change with global warming and bushfires in Australia.

Occupying a heritage-listed storehouse, the bar exudes simple elegance with a minimalistic 1920s feel that flirts with the speakeasies of the past. The name is inspired by The Avalanches song Since I Left You and this neighbourhood small bar packs a lot of personality. Yet with its narrow laneway entrance and small bar vibe, you could think you’ve tumbled upon a Melbourne bar. Since I Left You is one of the original Sydney small bars, hidden along Kent Street in the heart of the CBD.
